Description

A boutique law firm located in Garden City, NY seeks a full-time associate attorney with comprehensive civil litigation experience. Experience handling commercial, contractual, and/or real estate disputes preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities include:

• Litigate and negotiate on behalf of clients in a variety of legal matters
• Draft legal documents, conduct legal research, and develop case strategies
• Represent clients in legal proceedings, both in and out of court
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and work product
• Maintain accurate and current billing records

Requirements

Requirements include:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admitted and in good standing in New York State
• Proven civil litigation experience, including dispositive motions, depositions, and oral argument
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, writing, analysis, research, and organization skills
• Communicates clearly and concisely
• Interest in developing business
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, legal research, and case management software
